Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

After last year's great day cycling along the river (well, not "along" it literally!) I am having another go at this fun event this year.

The Thames Bridges Bike Ride is a 32 mile cycle ride through London.  Starting from City Hall, just south of Tower Bridge it criss-crosses 14 bridges over the river, ending up in Hurst Park, just this side of Hampton Court bridge.

Last time around I raised around £750, which was fantastic. This year I am hoping to get to £300, which will still be a great effort.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

You can follow my training progress and see a report on the ride itself on my blog:  http://nowwhathappens.blogspot.com/index.html
