We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We're asking you to donate some of your hard earned cash to go to a very special and important charity - The Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Teenage Cancer Trust is fantastic. They understand the often rare and aggressive forms of cancers which affect teenagers and have specialist teams pooling knowledge to be available to every hospital in the UK. They also understand the emotional stress of teenagers who are often based in either children's wards or elderly wards, segregating them from other kids at similar ages. They have set out to create teenage units for these kids where they can socialise and have the understanding and company of others facing the same illnesses. This has been proven to impact massively on the positive way these kids bravely tackle their own cancer.

To raise funds for this amazing charity, we are going to cycle 145 miles across the country, from Workington on the West Coast to Sunderland on the East Coast.  It will be a huge lift on all of those hills knowing that your kind donations were making a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please, please dig deep and donate now.
