ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Now you're here, please don't leave without emptying your pockets to some degree! Every penny counts and all donations will be going to Childline.

So you are asking yourselves, what are they are up to that's worth our hard-earned cash? Well if the thought of giving to charity is not enough to convince you, how about the thought of the 3 of us huffing and puffing (well 2 of us anyway) up hill and down dale from Land's End to John O'Groats in 48 hours - yes, you do believe your eyes. 888 miles in just 48 hours! "How?", I hear you cry. Departing 6 AM on 24th September from Land's End, cycling in relay (4 hours on, 8 hours off) and arriving in John O'Groats AM on 26th September. So give us something to keep us going by supporting our cause!

We would also like to take the time and opportunity to thank our sponsors and the support team who will be helping us along the route:-

   - Thank you to Aramex for sponsoring the camper van and petrol to enable us to get some shut eye along the route when it's not our turn to cycle.

   - Thank you to Steadlands for sponsoring the train tickets to enable the support team drivers to join up with the camper van in the required locations.

   - And thanks to the volunteer drivers who will be looking out for us:- Chris Robinson, Pete Thompson and Kash Ali
