<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Yes you read that correctly. April 22 I will be running the London Marathon for the charity, World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). WSPA’s goal is to tackle animal cruelty around the globe and to raise awareness about animal welfare issues. They campaign against such issues as:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Whaling</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Stray animals</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Working horses</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Dancing bears</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Bull fighting</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Destruction of natural habitats</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">Emergency relief during natural disasters</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">Currently, WSPA is running a campaign to stop the dog meat trade, which kills 18 million dogs a year. Supporting my participation in the London Marathon will help WSPA in their efforts to end this cruel industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000;">I’ll be posting updates on my training progress, great events you can get involved in to support my run and all things WSPA/London Marathon-related. My aim is to raise £1,500, so every little bit helps. So please donate and feel free to pass this link along to anyone who might be interested in supporting WSPA and my run.</span></p>
