Did you know 1 in every 8 women are affected at some point in their life by breast cancer?

I was lucky, my cancer was spotted at a routine screening when the lump was small and following treatment my prospects for the future are good. 

The service I got from Milton Keynes and Northampton General Hospitals was excellent and in thanks I am raising money to help improve local health services for other women affected by breast cancer.

So on SUNDAY 5th MAY, supported by family, friends and the Northampton Canoe Club, I am paddling my kayak 15 miles along the canal from Cosgrove in Northamptonshire through Milton Keynes and out towards Leighton Buzzard.
