Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For the last 5 years I have organised The Wolverhampton Advanced Motorcyclists Charity Memorial Ride to remember Maico, my partner of 20 years who died in a motorcycle accident near Quatt Cafe in October 2009. Maico was a member of WAM as was our friend Paul Morrey who died in August 2012 at Compton Hospice from cancer. We saw the care that was given to Paul and thought that Compton Hospice was a worthy cause, not only for the care they gave to Paul but for all the people who have suffered from life limiting illnesses, friends and family alike.
This year the WAM Charity Memorial Motorcycle Ride will take place on Sunday 11th October at 9am. It starts and finishes at Quatt Cafe near Bridgnorth. The ride goes out to The Halt Cafe near Rhayader in Mid Wales.
To take part in the event, you will need to purchase a ticket for £10.00 which gets you a breakfast at Quatt. The remainder of the money will go to Compton Hospice. You can donate your £10 per person here and then you need to send a message to pam01902@msn.com with your name and address so I can post your tickets out to you.
If anyone who just wants to donate here then please do so. Any donations will be gratefully received.
