On January 31st 2010 my husband received a new kidney and pancreas at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne which has changed both our lives.

Had it not been for the incredible selfless work carried out by Kidney Research UK this kind of operation may not have been possible so I would just like to give something back and allow their groundbreaking research to continue.  In order to do so I am going to trek part of the Great Wall of China along with my husband in October but need as much help and support as anyone can give now in order to be able to go.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Well on 6th October we started our Trek on the Great Wall of China and completed just over 80 miles after 7 days, it was hard work but a fantastic experience made all the better by like minded people who did it with us.  Thanks to everyone who helped us get there and helped towards out cause.
