Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself and my good friend Trevor will attempt to ride the South Downs Way, 100 miles off road in one day. Our plan is to complete the distance, weather permitting, but hopefully by the end of July. It would have been sooner but unfortunately Trevor's father passed away. We are now both very focused and determined.
We have done this distance before and hope we can break our previous tIme. No matter what happens on route, we start together and and finish together.
The reason why I am doing this is simple. My son, Theo, has autism. We would have never been able to progress and get the help that he needs, without the help and support from the National Autistic Society (NAS). The charity has helped us, his family, friends and school understand his specific needs. Before we were very confused and worried by his autism, through the NAS we have realisdoesn't does have a great future where he will be fully supported and hopefully will be able to live independently. Whatever money I raise will help this amazing charity help other families. It is about the strategies that they use that help Autistic people get through every day. Cycling 100 miles is going to be hard and I will ache for a few days. Autism is for life. It is not a disease. It does not go away with a magic pill.
Give what you can it does make a difference.
