My story
As most of you already know I have decided to participate in the London Marathon. You might wonder why I have come up with this freak idea.....well, I am not in the middle life crisis neither I am bored with life. However life is already very exciting as a new baby is on the way I thought that to make myself a bit more uselful would be have been good and not just once but maybe twice as much......considering that normally men do not do much during pregnancy and delivery:)))
First way to become helpful to my lovely wife is to pass on her the strength and the energy from the passion, discipline and effort for the training and the race, and of course also trying to share with her some of the pain that she will have to go through with delivery.
Second, our baby will be surely a lucky boy/ girl as he/she will born with a family that will be always doing their best to look after him/her, hence It is a good idea to try to sustain some of the less lucky children that do not have a family and can't have as much as of a bright future the our kids will have, hence have decided to fundraise for The Children Society as they help some of the country's most disadvantaged children.
Mind you that this is my first marathon and never run any longer that 13 miles in my life!!!
