Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

DUE TO THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THURSDAY, MY SWIM HAS BEEN POSTPONED. AIMING FOR A SWIM IN THE WEEKEND. WILL POST HERE WHEN THE DATE IS FINAL. --> Sunday 10 July!

On the 7th of July 2011 I will attempt to swim the English Channel (England to France).

My journey will start in the early morning on the beach of Folkestone and will hopefully end after 32km and a 12-14 hour swim near Calais in France.

I am raising money for the Heart Foundation as my father had a heart attack two years ago. Luckily he fully recovered due to good treatment and proper medication. With the swim I want to raise money and awareness for the Hearth Foundation to support research in better understanding hearth diseases and prevention.

Donating is also possible via the Dutch site: http://www.mijnactie.hartstichting.nl/acties/pascalvernaeve/zwemmen-van-engeland-naar-frankrijk

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for your support. Regards,

Pascal
