Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Passmores 2010 Climb Mount Snowdon Challenge for Help for Heroes is being undertaken by Three Passmores School teachers, Two Parents and our trusted Guide Pete. Most of those involved have never tried anything like this before.

Snowdon stands 1,085 meters (3,560 feet) the summit has 200 inches of rain per year, and can reach temparatures of 30 centrigrade in summer and plummet to -20 in the winter, add to this winds of up to 150mph and it can be more like -50.

The summit building at the top can be covered in ice and snow between November and April.

We plan to climb via the Pyg track and decend on the Miners track.

Our climb will a personel challenge for those taking part but of course will also be raising money for The Help for Heroes fund.
