In loving memory of Pat Goodwin who passed away from cancer at the Guildford Nuffield Hospital on 8th October 2010 and will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.  

Pat was an inspiration to all those who knew her, as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, colleague and friend.  She remained positive to the very end, not once giving up the fight against her illness, always more concerned for others than for herself.  Aside from family, which meant the world to her, she touched the lives of many through her work as a nurse and teacher, and with the Woodcote Practice Patients' Group. 

We would like in our own small way to follow her example as the excellent role model she was so widely known as and raise funds for GRACE, (Gynae-Oncology Research And Clinical Excellence), raising awareness and funds for equipment and research supporting women with gynaecological cancers.
