Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

No one could  forget the devasting earthquake that struck Haiti in January, causing destruction to the island and its people on an unimaginable scale. 

Now that the world media has turned its attention to 'newer news' its easy to lose sight of the fact  that Haiti's challenges have really just began.  As Cathy and I learned from working in Jamaica shortly after Hurricane Gilbert, struck it will take Haitains decades, if not lifetimes, to rebuild their infrastructure and services to a level resembling what we take for granted in The West.

I can think of no better gift to celebrate my five decades of life than to know that we have helped those so much less fortunate and needy, than ourselves.

 

Please give what you can to this very worthy cause  and looking forward to celebrating with you on April 16th
