Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones leading to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.

It is a terrible thing to see someone you love suffer like this and that is why we want to raise as much money as possible to help eradicate MND so that others do not go through the same horrifying ordeal that our wonderful friends Tina and Giulio are facing.

I know we have asked you to contribute before and with the climb to Kilimanjaro looming in October we no doubt will be asking again but please help us to collect as much money as possible.  Just a small donation will make all the difference.

Training is under way and a half marathon is coming up in a couple of weeks.  We need as many fundraising ideas as possible so if anybody has any suggestions please let me know.  One of my not so clever ideas was a swear box in the office. Unfortunately I seem to be filling it up all by myself!!!  Thank God they can't hear me when I'm running or I'd be bankrupt!!

Looking forward to seeing your contributions mounting and thank you so much for your help everybody.
