How amazing and exciting! I completed the jump and walked on clouds! Because of my age I had to wait for the weather to be at its best and when the time finally came I got a bit scared, but this was exhalarating and I cannot wait to see the video for it!

However there are approximately 730,000 people in the living with dementia, 50,000 of whom live in . If you take into account the carers, relatives and friends, the number of lives affected must be enormous.
It is estimated that one in five people in the 80+ age group in the will have some form of dementia.
in the South West of Scotland offers a full range of services to older people. This includes specialist dementia care in superb facilities.
We are planning to raise £5,000 to equip a multi-sensory room with interactive bubble tubes and special lighting. This will help improve individual well-being by stimulating senses and, in many cases, it will contribute to improving greatly the quality of life of many people living with dementia at Auchlochan.
In order to raise funds, on the 26 September 2009 Tricia is doing a PARACHUTE JUMP out of an aeroplane. I will jump in tandem, at ten thousand feet and free fall for five thousand feet before the parachute opens (hopefully). Am I scared or simply mad!
On 03 October, a group of us are taking part in the Edinburgh Big Fun Run.
