Hiya, thanks for taking the time to visit this page.
Mwiza (Florisa and Innocent’s little daughter) is 4 months’ old and was born with a cleft lip and palate. As well as affecting her facial appearance, this could cause Mwiza difficulties eating, impact on her speech development and affect the correct growth of her teeth.
The good news is that cleft lip and palate are treatable and can be corrected through reconstructive surgery, which has a high success rate. With your help we can make sure Mwiza accesses surgery which will give her a beautiful smile.
Mwiza’s parents chose Great Ormond Street Hospital, for the procedure, but the operation is very expensive. The majority of the money is being raised by Florisa's church (St. Paul's), but they still need a few thousand pounds to ensure that Mwiza gets the surgey she needs. The surgeons recommend that they do the first operation when Mwiza is three months old; that’s very soon, so please help as much as possible, as soon as possible.
If you would like any more information about the family or the surgery, please contact me at dipatricia@mailcity.com or on 07949 216172
Thank you so much for your support.
(Thank you to all of you who helped smash our previous target, the target has been increased as Mwiza now also needs endocrinology examinations, please help us to raise more by passing page on to others.)
