I will be running in my first ever marathon on the 19th June. It takes place in Normandy, France and I do not know if I am up to the task. Le Marathon de la Liberté has established itself as one of the top 10 French marathons since it was created in 1988. It is sometimes called the D-Day Landings Marathon and is remembered as being the Caen Marathon. It has one of the most beautiful courses in France. It takes places over a distance of 42.195 km.

Street Child Africa currently fund an ambitious programme across eight sub-Saharan countries. Each of the twelve grassroots organisations is dedicated to providing services which improve the lives and long-term prospects of Africa's children.
Through their partners, they:
- support children's physical and emotional well-being
- foster children's skills and learning
- encourage children to enjoy and express themselves through arts, sports, music and play
- plan for children's long-term needs
They also aim to facilitate collaboration to deal not only with the immediate needs of all children, but also tackle the root causes of street migration.
