<p>I will be running in my first ever marathon on the 19th June. It takes place in Normandy, France and I do not know if I am up to the task. Le Marathon de la Libert&eacute; has established itself as one of the top 10 French marathons since it was created in 1988. It is sometimes called the D-Day Landings Marathon and is remembered as being the Caen Marathon. It has one of the most beautiful courses in France. Each of the twelve grassroots organisations is dedicated to providing services which improve the lives and long-term prospects of Africa's children.</p> <p>Through their partners, they:</p> <ul> <li>support children's physical and emotional well-being </li> <li>foster children's skills and learning</li> <li>encourage children to enjoy and express themselves through arts, sports, music and play</li> <li>plan for children's long-term needs </li> </ul> <p>They also aim to facilitate collaboration to deal not only with the immediate needs of all children, but also tackle the root causes of street migration.</p>
