Story

The World Land Trust provides funding for local organizations to acquire land rights to the natural habitats of endangered species. Investing in protecting the species themselves is fine. But what if their habitat goes to hell in a hand basket at the hands of commercial developers - what then?
The World Land Trust's approach is brilliant. That's why the truly great Sir David Attenborough is a patron of this organization. A lot of British people of my generation grew up in awe of Sir David Attenborough. Another one of his fans is one President Barack Obama, who did a television interview with him in in June 2015. We're talking about the President of the United States interviewing Sir David, by the way, not the other way around.
On Saturday May 28th I'm setting out to walk the 100 kilometres (60 miles) from London to Brighton in the London 2 Brighton Challenge which raises money for multiple different causes: http://www.london2brightonchallenge.com .
Due to leave London late morning on Saturday. With enough rest and refreshment stops, I'm aiming to get into Brighton some time between 6.00 a.m and 10.00 a.m Sunday morning. The important thing is to finish and raise a load of money for this fantastic organization.
