I am doing a charity bike ride starting in Edinburgh on Sat 1st August and arriving in London on Sun 9th August.  It is only 474miles!!!  

This is certainly a huge personal challenge for me as I'm not a cyclist but this is something very close to my heart. There were 552 children killed in the violence last August. I went on some demonstrations but I was left with a feeling of – “what more can I do?"  I think we are all guilty of talking (or moaning) sometimes and when I came across this event, I knew that this was the perfect way to do my bit for humanity.  I know sometimes that this can be a sensitive topic and there can be a lot of mainstream media propaganda that somehow the people of Palestine deserve this.  The bottom line is that out of the children slaughtered – 551 were Palestinian children in Gaza.  I think this awful statistic tells the story.  I hope you will donate and it will be remembered from my side.
