My first thank you has to go to Ed Griffiths. He was the original owner of the bike I have decided to do this challenge on. After losing interest in his unfinished project he decided to sell and despite huge interest from elsewhere decided to let me have it at a very good discounted price when he heard of the challenge. CRUK is something that is close to him so I hope we do him justice.

Onto the challenge..John O Groats to Lands End in 24hrs, no motorways all on a bike costing a max of £300. Just to add to the challenge, I choose a sports orientated bike which will certainly show up my lack of fitness. Anything more than an hour on a sports bike is crippling but as the tank range is so poor it should at least have me stopping at regular intervals to steal someone elses fuel.....

Still, it's a GSXR, which means only 1 thing..lunacy...

I'm sure the wheelies will shorten the tank range but will extend front tyre life

On a serious note, Cancer has touched most of us in some way or another at some point in our life and I truly believe a cure will be found in my lifetime. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront of pushing research forward in the UK and we should all support this fantastic cause as all of our families will benefit with each breakthrough that is made.

Any donation is welcomed and truly appreciated but if anyone has a nice cushion that can be taped to the seat that they wish to donate then contact me directly..I think i may need it
