Leeds 10K 2015 · 12 July 2015 ·

We are the largest charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK. Kidney disease ruins and destroys lives. Treatments are gruelling, relentless. There is no cure. We say this isn't good enough. We will transform kidney health. Kidney disease ends here.

Story

So we decided back in February to take a sabbatical from our fame as the dazzling dancing duo. Despite many requests from our fans to return to the dance floor, we have trained for 4 gruelling months, suffering from "fractured ligaments", agonising cramp and Leeds treacherous wind damage to our hair… However, we have invested in top notch trainers and head bands in order to be fully prepared for the Leeds 10k on 12th July!
After the death of Patrick's Grandad the family wanted to contribute in some way to the dialysis unit that supported him like a second family throughout his life. This is why Patrick has chosen to run for Kidney Research UK in order to raise funds to support their work with 3 million patients and their families in the UK with treatment and ultimately finding a cure to kidney disease.
Becky has chosen to run for the Cats Protection League, as back in 2013 a rugged red headed stray feline walked into her life and neither have looked back since, sleeping nose to nose every night. In her dream world Becky would like to house all the stray and rescued cats from around the world, but she simply cannot do this - so this is where the Cats Protection League step in and help! Basically, Becky just LOVES cats!!
So, think of your beloved pets and your alcohol fuelled kidneys that need saving, and open your pockets to donate to the dancing duo and see them strut their stuff to the 10k finishing line - OVER TO YOU!
