Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I and around 80 others are walking the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness between 29 May and 4 June, to raise funds for the marvellous end-of-life care that St Luke's Hospice gives without charge to local people in Harrow and the northern parts of Brent.

Though for several years I always used to walk the full length of the annual sponsored walks, I now find I'm slowing down a bit, so I go for the "middle distance" option, which this time amounts to about 57 miles. Obviously I don't want to hold up the faster walkers.

We all meet the costs of our transport, accommodation and food, so all the money you donate goes towards patient care.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
