Rotary Club of Romsey Test Trust - Walk The Test Way · 9 October 2011 ·

The Club is based in Romsey, Hants. Members provide service for those in need, both locally and internationally, by giving their time, and organising fund raising events.. An Annual Sponsored Walk (Walk the Testway) is held in September, to provide a platform for charitable causes to raise funds.

Story

<p>I believe that a 25.5 mile walk of the Test Way on 9 October should be a tough challenge.</p> <p>I am walking it for the primary purpose of raising money for the <a title="find out more about the Andover Support Group and Parkinson's UK" href="http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/andover" target="_blank">Andover Support Group for Parkinson's UK</a>.</p> <p>My Dad has the disease.&nbsp; The support local groups give is invaluable and is totally dependent on donations.&nbsp; It's only with your help that they can continue vital research projects, and provide support and information.&nbsp;</p> <p>It would be fantastic to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.</p> <p>You'll be helping to raise awareness by supporting my walk.</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Walk</span></strong></p> <p>Organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey Test.&nbsp; It is an annual event supporting their own charities with 25% of the sponsorship raised.</p> <p>Starting at 7AM I am doing the longest of the available walks from St. Mary Bourne walking along the Test Way to Romsey 25.5 miles away.</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p><a title="Parkinson's UK Andover" href="http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/andover" target="_blank"></a>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
