Paul

Paul Buckingham, Director of Recruit Build Ltd, will be attempting to climb Mont Blanc in the French Alps, the highest mountain in Western Europe, this summer with friend and mountaineer, Graeme Taylor.

The aim of this challenge is to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Our target is £2500 from corporate and individual sponsorship.

With Paul having no previous mountaineering experience, this is the ultimate personal challenge, requiring determination and stamina to battle against altitude, ice and snow. The event will take the best part of one week, starting 27 June including three days of   ice training and altitude acclimatisation and two days for the ascent to the summit at 4810m, almost 16,000ft.

You can keep track of events leading up to and during the challenge by following Recruit Build on Twitter and Facebook.

As the cost of the challenge will be privately funded, every penny you give will go directly to the charities. To make your donation, simply click on the link, so have your debit or credit card at the ready.

Thank you in advance for any donations you pledge. Let’s try and smash the target….
