Story
Many thanks to everyone who has sponsored me so far. I have now finished the challenge in 9 hours 30 mins - half an hour under the target time. It was a fantastic occasion and one which I will remember for a long time. If you would still like to make a contribution to our fund raising your donation would be much appreciated.
I am a member of Buckingham Table which is a group of fun-loving chaps in Buckingham who use charity as an excuse for going to the pub. In a moment of weakness, after more than one pint of Doombar, 10 of us agreed to undertake the challenge of walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 19th May. Having conducted some practice walks which left most of us in, to be frank, a laughable condition we feel that we are as ready as we will ever be to tackle the 25 mile route in the Yorkshire Dales.
We have decided to undertake this walk on behalf of Brain Tumour Research. In the UK 16,000 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour each year and more children and people under the age of 40 die of a brain tumour than any other cancer.
You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal
