As you may or may not know I have signed up to run/stagger through the 13 miles which make up the Great North Run 2009. Rather than just put my 29 year old body through it for the sake of it, I have decided to try and raise a bit of money for the Lindsey Lodge Hospice.

The Hospice provide great support and facilities for patients and families suffering from a variety of conditions throughout the the region and some of you with family in the Scunthorpe area may have experienced their services first hand. So it would be greatly appreciated by both the Hospice and myself if you could donate whatever money you can spare during these credit crunch times!
