Story
Dear friends many thanks for checking out my JustGiving page.
My brother Paul passed away unexpectedly on 17th April aged just 48. Myself, Paul's family & his friends are visiting Macclesfield Forrest (Paul's fav place to walk) on Saturday 20th August starting from the rangers hut at 12pm. There are lots of walks from easy to challenging (or you could just go to the Leathers Smithy to celebrate Paul's life) where we are all meeting after the walks.
Come along, bring family & friends and enjoy the day. As Paul was extremely sporty being a coach in rugby and cricket plus a motorsports marshal and PADI diver if you fancy dressing up for the day feel free (dont recommend a wet suit tho). Paul also loved Manchester City.
I will be attempting to walk 9kl (with a very dodgy knee and a few steep hills!). If you can't make the day but would like to donate from 50 pence upwards I'd be so very happy.
Paul lost his daughter to MRSA some years back and became involved with the charity taking on the role of Vice Chair for some time.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast & totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Many thanks Paul's sister Angie xxx
