In 2010 and 2011 Paul Donno & Co Ltd will be raising money for local charity St Nicholas Hospice in memory of Denise Sheriden. Denise received wonderful care from the Hospice before she passed away last October after losing her battle with cancer. Denise was not just a client she was a great friend to all of us at Paul Donno & Co for many years. Denise helped Paul when he was refereeing Rugby Football for the RFU - fixing his aches and pains, telling him that he had one leg shorter than the other and generally having a laugh at his expense!
The team at Paul Donno & Co is committed to raising much needed funds for the Hospice throughout this year - we have set a target of £5,000 but would be delighted to exceeed this! We are planning a number of events and will be working closely with Abby Hunt, corporate fundraiser at St Nicholas Hospice, to come up with some great ideas to both raise the awareness of the vital role the Hospice plays in supporting people with terminal and life threatening illnesses and their families and, of course, contribute to their fundraising. If you would like to find out more about the Hospice please visit www.stnicholashospice.org.uk/
Events planned so far:
Michael Ford will take part in the Sudbury "Fun" run in April
Paul Donno & Michael Ford will do the Sumo Challenge on May 2
Casino night on 18 August - Purple Mango
