<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="color: black; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">A group of 12 cyclists are set to undertake the biggest physical challenge of their lives in early September, as they embark on a gruelling 800 mile cycle ride from Cans-Montana in the Swiss Alps to Holkham Hall in Norfolk.</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="color: black; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The ride, which was the brainchild of Viscount Coke, is being staged to raise funds and awareness for Walking with the Wounded (WWTW), a charity which is dedicated to funding the retraining and re-skilling of wounded servicemen and women to assist them in finding new careers outside the military.</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="color: black; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The core group of 12 cyclists, who will be joined by up to another 10 riders for stages of the trip, will set out on the 10 day challenge on Tuesday 6<sup>th</sup> September. Starting in the mountain resort of Crans-Montana the route will cross over into France via the Jura mountains before heading up through France, across the Champagne region and into England before finishing in Norfolk.</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="color: black; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">The group, which includes several riders who only sat on a road bike for the first time this summer, aim to raise £50,000 for WWTW, a charity which was founded in 2010</span><a name="_GoBack"></a><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> by Ed Parker <span class="apple-style-span"><span style="background: white;">who was moved to take action following his nephew losing both legs in an IED attack in Afghanistan.</span></span><span class="apple-converted-space"><span style="background: white;"> </span></span></span></span></span></p>
