Daniel Fagan was diagnosed with Leukaemia in August 2012 at just 19 months old. He started standard treatment straight away, but unfortunately, just before Christmas 2012, he relapsed and had to undergo a bone marrow transplant. 

He is now 6 months post transplant but is obviously still battling to overcome this awful disease.

His treatment has meant long stays in Oxford John Radcliffe Childrens Hospital and in Bristol Childrens Hospital, both of which are an hour away from home.

CLIC Sargent have been a great support to Daniel's family, the main contribution being in the form of free accommodation close to the hospital. Only 1 parent can stay with Daniel in the hospital, but the CLIC house has meant that both of his parents can stay close by, thus reducing travel costs and the stress associated with a round trip of 100 miles per day.
