Hornsey YMCA 10k and Children's Fun Run · 20 May 2012 ·

YMCA London City and North provides services to people of all ages, through our hostels for young people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, and through our health and wellbeing services, with 16,000 concessions annually for local families, pensioners and other individuals

Story

Once again I am running the Hornsey YMCA 10k run this year. Just over 6 months ago, I suffered a stroke from which I have been lucky enough to make a full recovery. This is my chance to use my good fortune to benefit some others.

The YMCA is the largest youth welfare charity in the country, running youth programmes, clubs, and other recreational activities. The YMCA aims to provide high quality programmes that help young people grow in mind, body and spirit. In these tough economic times, these aims are even more important than ever.

Please dig deep and give whatever you are able to do now.
