Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a member of a boating forum (YBW Forum) and have been inspired by the actions of some of the members to join in on a group bike ride from Penton Hook Marina on the Thames to Ocean Village Marina in Southampton.

Those who know me will realise that jumping on a bike and riding 68(ish) miles is out of character; I am more your home delivery pizza and a bottle of Peroni kind of guy so this is going to be a real challenge.

I am hoping you will recognise the effort this will take and feel able to drop a few pennies in the pot to help support a worthy cause - the British Heart Foundation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
