As you may or may not know I have (some people say stupidly) agreed to sign up for a 24 mile walk in the Brecon Beacons along with over 100 of my Premier Foods colleagues. Our company goal is to raise over £250,000 for Cancer Research UK.

As you are all aware I usually only walk when a small white ball is involved so this will definitely be a tough challenge, especially as I will ascend a total of 3052.47 ft along the way...

However all of the blisters and sore feet/knees/body in general will be worth it as I am raising money for a fantastic charity (Cancer Research UK) who do some fantastic work in their field. I am sure we all know somebody who has been affected by Cancer and anything you donate will be directly contributing in developing a cure.

Training is underway, walking boots have been bought but still need a few more miles to get them properly worn in to ensure my feet don't get completely shredded on the big day! So the last thing to tick off is my sponsorship target! Please donate generously and I will ensure I keep you all updated with my progress and suffering!
