My story

Funny Faces is an exhibition of famous people from the world of comedy, by Paul Heneker, that will be held at the Strand Gallery in London from the 6th -17th December 2011.

 

All the photos will be signed and auctioned off at the end with every penny going to Shelter.

 

There will also be a limited edition run of 20 of each of the prints signed just by the photographer and priced at £30 each with the profit going to Shelter.

 

Not everyone will be able to afford one of the prints or indeed want to buy one.  This Just Giving page gives the opportunity for anyone to make a donation to Shelter and show their support to the project too.

 

There are lots of names involved in the project so far including Simon Pegg, Alexei Sayle, Tony Robinson, Jimmy Carr, Ed Byrne, Ian Hislop, Al Murray, Tim Vine, Omid Djalili, David O'Doherty, Andy Parsons, Josie Lawrence, Nicholas Parsons, Chris Barrie and many more.

 

So if you can spare anything for a donation please do dig deep and help to make this project a success.

 

Shelter is a charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing.  They do this by giving advice, information and advocacy to people in housing need, and by campaigning for lasting political change to end the housing crisis for good.
