I first became aware of how MS affects sufferers when I met my then to be Mother in Law who has been living with this unpleasant and often debilitating condition for the last 20 years.

When I first met her it was clear that very little was known about MS and indeed very little could be done to treat or help sufferers.

Since then thankfully, much more has been learnt and new treatments are appearing on the horizon and it seems that a cure might just be within our reach.

Until then however people just like you or I are being diagnosed with MS each and every day and it is for that reason that this research is so important and must continue.
