My wife Vicky and I are taking part in a charity bike ride with former world formula one motor racing champion and charity campaigner Nigel Mansell OBE. Also taking part is Magnus Backstedt winner of the 2004 Paris Roubaix. We are raising money for UK Youth the National charity supporting young people. I will be riding with Nigel and his group for the first leg, from Carlisle to Glasgow on 28 July a distance of 115 miles. Vicky is taking over the second leg from Glasgow to Edinburgh on 29 July a distance of 52 miles.
