Manchester to London · 17 June 2016

The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

On the 17th June 2016, a group of Christie Hospital Manchester and University College London Hospital cyclists will depart from the site of the Christie Proton Beam Therapy Centre in South Manchester and ride to UCLH centre in Central London. That's over two hundred miles in two days.

The NHS National Proton Beam Therapy Programme will make an advanced form of radiotherapy available to patients in the UK for the first time and the centres in Manchester and London have been chosen to deliver the service.

I'll be part of the group and would be very grateful if you could sponsor me by making a donation to help make the lives of patients visiting the Christie Proton Beam Centre more tolerable. All the money you give will go into the Christie Proton Beam Therapy Patient Experience Fund.

Thank you.
