Story

Hello!

As it's been a few years since I have done an event in order to raise money for charity I thought I would give it another bash.

In fitting with all the cycling I do, on 4th August 2013, along with some 20,000 others, I am taking on the Ride London 100. As the title suggests it's a 100 mile ride through London and the Surrey Hills (1,700 meters of hills to be exact).

I've decided to try and raise a few quid for "Friends of PICU" whom helped a friend out a great deal when one of their little ones had major heart surgery. Personally I have been lucky enough with my clan never to have to go through something so worrying but people do, every day.

I know financially times are hard so I have set myself a modest target to raise of £300. I would ask if you do sponsor me, don't feel obliged to make it lots. If I can get lots of people to donate a quid or two, then I will reach the target nice and easily.

Oh, and if you are really bored go to strava.com and search for me. You can see all my rides in detail. You know you want to.
