We promote sustainable beekeeping to combat poverty in developing countries

Story

This will be my final marathon.

I have said that before, but at 42, my knees are crumbling and I need new challenges. Ones that involve a bit more sitting.

I hope you will be able to make a donation, however small, to the Bees for Development Trust. They do fantastic work with bees and people in some of the poorest countries - promoting sustainable beekeeping to support livelihoods and conserve biodiversity.

I did think about running as a bee. Not pollen your leg - I thought it might create a bit of a buzz.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
