Thank you so much for all your incredibly generous donations. We have now raised over £700! Hoping to do my Uncle proud on Sunday, whilst also sharing a thought for the runners and spectators at Boston. I'll be running for them all on Sunday.

I am raising money for the 'Hammer Out' charity who have been helping my Uncle, Steve Teakel, battle his brain tumour. Steve has shown incredible courage to fight against this terminal illness since he was diagnosed in 2010.

He, with the incredible support of his family, friends and Hammer Out community, has defied realistic expectations to be still battling with us today. Running 26.2 miles is nothing compared with what Steve faces on a daily basis. He is an inspiration to us all and I want to help those that help him.

Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated.
