Hello all and a massive thank you for your support and help in enabling me to raise £305 for the East Cheshire Hospice.  What was supposed to be a relatively short 10k run interspersed with fun team tasks soon turned into a relatively short 10k run interspersed with short bouts of sheer torture!  Was looking forward to a little rest during each task.  How wrong can one be!! 

Not being a runner, my two team mates in Al and Andy did a good job pacing me and we were very pleased to come third out of nine teams entered, just 4 minutes off the winning time.  So there’s life in the old dog yet.  That said, legs today are completely useless!!

Once again, thank you all so much for your help and encouragement in raising money for this fantastic cause.  (I was tempted to run away with the cash and put it towards a week in the sun but as I can’t even walk anywhere right now, I’ll hand it over to the Hospice!)
