Story

Amazing that the money keeps coming in, you people are beautiful!

Help Marie Curie Nurses care for more terminally ill people and their families.

I'm taking part in Skinny Dip - East Lothian to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care - and I'm actually looking forward to it!

Please sponsor me and help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.

£20 provides 1 hour of Marie Curie nursing care, but whatever you can give will help terminally ill people and their families when they need it most.

People's generosity is humbling. Thank you for your support.

The skinny dip yesterday was a personal success for fundraising, and was really great fun! There was a positive vibe and everyone came out of the water pretty cheerful. Too bad the was so cold - but some people thought it was fine! Next year again, please.

It hasn't taken long for donations to exceed my target by almost half again as much. Thanks again to all donors!

Wow, exceeded my second, doubled-up goal, thanks to generous donations by friends and families, thank you all so much. I'm not going to up it again, but hope people keep giving :)

My latest photo was taken on Islay last spring - a mad plunge into an icy seawater pool - I was out again pretty sharpish - the look on my face is hysterical pleasure at surviving!

I'm so encouraged by the pledges received in 24 hours that I've upped my goal to £200 - is that too ambitious? Hope not!
