I am riding mostly Route 8 Coast to Coast across Wales in July.The route is  from Cardiff to St Johns Hospice Wirral and will cross over a lot of Hills.  Opened in 1995, the route runs down the whole length of Wales and is one of the toughest of all the long distance routes on the National Cycle Network. As such it represents an excellent challenge normally completed over 5-7 days  ride. I will be doing it in 3 days.

The route is currently 240 miles long.
