This year I've decided to take part in the Bupa Great Manchester Run which is a 10km event on 16th May 2010. I am going to be running with my good friend Jill and as she works for Action for Children I thought it would be a good idea to raise some money for this worthwhile charity.

Action for Children supports and speaks out for the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK. They have been doing this for over 140 years and provide specialist help and support for disabled children, help vulnerable and excluded young people, find carers for children who can't live with their families, support families at critical times and with difficult problems, and want children to be able to achieve their full potential.

I'm sure you'll agree this is a very worthwhile cause and donating through JustGiving is a simple, fast and totally secure way to provide your support.
