Story

Never one to turn down a challenge. I get the feeling going up Hardknott pass (>30% gradient) after 90 extremely hard/hilly miles will make me rethink this motto in the future!!

112 miles with 13000ft of climbing, it is no misconception that this event is considered by many as the hardest the UK has to offer. The photos on the webpage seem to be half of those cycling downhills and half people dismounting their bikes and walking up the climbs. Sounds great!! :-/

My club COG Velo are sending a good group of 10 or so cyclists to attempt this event and in doing so have decided to attempt to raise £1000 for St Andrews Hospice. I would be very grateful if you could help me reach my target, i promise i will suffer for every pound spent. Thanks for your support.
