Some info about The BerkoAstro Project:
BRCFC along with the Herts County FA are applying for investment from the Football Foundation towards developing a state-of -the art sports site.
When we have received this funding boost this will enable the community of Berkhamsted to build a fantastic new facility at Ashlyns School.
The 3G pitch will allow Ashlyns,Berkhamsted Raiders CFC and other users to offer improved and expanded pitch access.The full-size pitch can be sub-divided into three "mini-pitches for training or junior use.
The new facility will be an impressive addition to the community and will help develop links between the community,Ashlyns School,other local schools and clubs such as BRCFC,this will strengthen the towns sports and football development.
We are all running in memory of our late Chairman Paul Beard whose vision and dream was to provide Berkhamsted with a facility to be proud of.
I for one will be running but also working tirelessly to ensure that his dream becomes a reality...................
