We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

I have been hatching my pledge for the 60/600 challenge.  60/600 Challenge has been set up by my aunty Julie on her 60th Birthday to raise money for Alzheimers Research.

Recently my Mary's funeral yesterday brought a lot of feelings back to the fore a couple of years after my Nannas passing.  Both were truly the warmest kindest people you could ever meet and i cherish every happy memory of each of them.

I am happy that the memories of Nanna and Mary eclipse the struggle that alzheimers presented in their latter days.  The struggle i experienced, that i saw in my dear family and worse of all the struggle of my Nanna and Aunty.  As i see it 60/600 can contribute to improving that for others.  All of you working toward this have my utmost respect.

Now my pledge, i will ride 600 miles over 6 (maybe 7 depending on logistics) rides between now and the end of Sept.  The rides will include Buttertubs, the Endeavour, Whitby Regatta and White Horses.  Each of the rides will be challenging, i know i have done a few of them before.  I will keep you posted on the events as they are booked and will try and recruit a small team to get through them with me and maybe raise some more money.
