Great North Run 2015 · 13 September 2015 ·

The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.I have been chosen through work to run for our charity St Johns Ambulance and its good training for me towards the Full Marathon in York in October. Plus I'd like to beat my Sheffield time.

Everyone who needs it should receive first aid from those around them. No one should suffer for the lack of trained first I aiders. St John Ambulance believes that no one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. However, every year too many people die in situations where first aid could have given them a chance to live. We are dedicated to teaching first aid to hundreds of thousands of people in schools and communities across the country every year, and campaigning to raise awareness of the importance of life saving skills.
As a charitable organisation we http://youtu.be/8IKPOvxAt88 no government funding and so depend on the support of individuals and other groups within the local community. The money you have donated will help us to continue our life saving work and charitable mission.
