Story

I am running the Ryedale Run in September, which is 10 miles long! This is further than I have ever run before. I am doing this as part of the UFP team (check out http://www.justgiving.com/teams/ufp/ for info).

The fundraising is for a conservation charity in the Udzungwa Forest mountains in Tanzania.

The charity works with local people in Tanzania to help protect the Udzungwa forest.  The forest contains a huge number of endemic animals and plants, and is unfortunately in great danger of being completely destroyed within the next ten years.

Your money will go towards helping with sustainability programmes, such as tree planting schemes, fuel efficient stoves, and fuel briquettes - all of which will help reduce the demand on the local forests.

So please give as much as you can (every little bit helps)!

Thank you!
