<p><span style="color: #333399;">Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As most of you will now know I am attempting to complete an Ultramarathon across the Sahara desert in April 2012 called The Marathon des Sables. It is a 251k race set over six days whereby competitors are self-sufficient, tackling a variety of terrains including a 91k stage running through the night.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333399;">I am doing this to raise money for a charity called Bright Red who were established to improve the lives and treatment of people who are dealing with blood cancer. I chose this charity because my father was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma several years ago and thanks to the professional help he received he is now in full remission. The aim is to raise £10,000 for the charity so that they can put it to good use helping people with blood cancer. Any donation that you can afford is greatfully accepted and can make a huge difference to the lives of those affected. </span></p>
